The unit is made from virtually indestructible and rustproof double-walled polycarbonate plastic. The Gentry is also treated with an ultraviolet inhibitor so that the original color will retain its luster without fading for as long as possible. The large-sized mailbox easily accommodates plenty of mail, magazines, padded envelopes and parcels. A handy built-in compartment on the post is perfect for storing flat newspapers and magazines, along with packages. In addition, a rear door on the mailbox keeps children and adults safely away from traffic. Quickly and easily installs over an existing or new 4×4 post (sold separately).
